It’s the new Gutenberg editor

As I think I mentioned a few days ago, I finally bit the bullet and started experimenting with the new Gutenberg editor for WordPress. And so far, so good, as far as I’m concerned.

The caveat being that I’ve really only experimented with it on a new theme (Atomic Blocks) that is specifically designed for Gutenberg and that I’m basically doing very simple posts and pages. I have no idea how it integrates into other, existing themes or how it would work with sites that are complex and/or have a ton of plugins.

Also, I’m coming at it from an end-user experience as someone who knows essentially nothing about code.

But, if you’re interested in seeing Gutenberg in action without installing it on your own site, check out the short video I did where I created a simple, sample post.
